Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your dedication will help foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life for those you serve. Responsibilities Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on approved treatment plans, focusing on skill development and behavior management. Collect, record, and analyze data related to client progress to ensure accurate documentation of treatment outcomes. Assist clients with activities of daily living, promoting independence in routines such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene. Implement behavior intervention strategies to support clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Maintain detailed medical records, care plans, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistent application of behavior strategies and progress updates. Support clients in educational settings by applying principles of special education and teaching techniques tailored to individual needs. Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification; prior experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and behavioral health principles. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Strong skills in data collection, medical documentation, and understanding medical terminology related to behavioral health. Ability to work patiently and compassionately with clients while maintaining professionalism in all interactions. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of medical records and client information. Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
