In this dynamic position, you will provide personalized behavioral and educational support, assist with daily living activities, and implement individualized care plans. Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support skill development and behavior management. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting, fostering independence and self-care skills. Collect and analyze data on behavior patterns, progress toward goals, and intervention effectiveness to inform care plans. Support the development and execution of individualized care plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and families, to ensure consistent support across settings. Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Use your teaching skills to reinforce positive behaviors, facilitate learning opportunities, and promote social skills development within a supportive environment. Requirements Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Knowledge of behavioral therapy methods such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management strategies. Ability to assist with ADLs and provide patient care in a compassionate manner. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Strong data collection skills to track progress accurately and adjust interventions as needed. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, families, and other professionals.
