Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Empower students to reach their full potential by bringing your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician to a supportive school environment near Bunkie, LA. This contract opportunity invites experienced RBTs to work closely with PreK through 12th-grade students, making a meaningful difference across multiple grade levels. As an integral part of a collaborative team, you'll implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and help create positive learning experiences for students needing specialized behavioral support. Multiple openings are available, allowing you to impact students at various developmental stages.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and ABA principles Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to maintain detailed records and document progress Adaptability to meet the unique needs of different age groups Compassionate, patient, and energetic approach to student engagement
Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one or small group behavioral interventions according to each student's individualized plan Monitor, assess, and record student progress on behavioral goals Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and school staff Support classroom management strategies and reinforce positive behaviors Adjust interventions as directed by supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Provide consistent, constructive feedback to students and staff You'll have the chance to foster student growth, develop your professional skills, and thrive in a school community that values your dedication.
