Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions. As an RBT, you will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to deliver personalized care plans that promote positive behavior change and skill development. Your energetic approach and compassionate nature will help foster a supportive environment for growth and progress. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care skills Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively Collaborate with BCBAs and team members to develop, review, and update care plans tailored to each client's needs Maintain accurate medical documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Foster a safe, engaging, and motivating environment that promotes learning and independence for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, special education, or teaching is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior management strategies Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in developing life skills Excellent data collection skills to track progress accurately during therapy sessions Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is a plus Compassionate, patient, energetic, and committed to making a positive impact on clients' lives Join us in empowering individuals through evidence-based behavioral health practices!
