Job Description

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available in New Orleans, LA for the upcoming school year. Blazer Jobs is partnering with local school districts to hire a skilled and student-centered BCBA who is passionate about supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs in a school-based setting. About the
Role:
This school-based BCBA role focuses on supporting students with significant behavioral needs through assessment, intervention planning, and ongoing data-driven support. The BCBA will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to develop effective behavior strategies that improve student outcomes and promote positive learning environments. School-based BCBAs commonly provide Functional Behavior Assessments, develop Behavior Intervention Plans, and coach staff on implementation strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the BACB Louisiana Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligibility required Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Knowledge of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting Strong communication, leadership, and data analysis skills
Job Duties:
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students Train and coach teachers, paraprofessionals, and RBTs Monitor and analyze behavioral data to guide interventions Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Support school-wide behavior systems and crisis intervention strategies
Travel Contract Benefits:
