Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is now available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized behavioral consultation at a thriving elementary school. This part-time contract position is situated conveniently near Dorchester, MA, and runs for the remainder of the 2025/2026 academic year with a flexible two-days-per-week schedule (Monday-Friday options). You'll work with a caseload of approximately 29 students—primarily in grades 2 through 5, with some middle school involvement—delivering critical IEP-aligned services in a well-supported and collaborative school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification. Experience in public school settings strongly preferred. Proven track record supporting students with behavioral needs and developing effective behavior intervention strategies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration between classroom staff, students, and multidisciplinary teams. Creative, compassionate, and team-oriented approach to behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consultation services to staff, focusing on behavioral interventions and support. Review, update, and assist with the implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Collaborate closely with classroom teams and administration to ensure effective behavioral strategies and promote student success. Deliver ongoing consultation to help maintain stable classroom environments and meet students' behavioral needs.
