Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Embark on a meaningful contract role as a Registered Behavior Technician, providing essential support and behavioral interventions within an educational environment near Cambridge, MA. In this full-time position, you'll play a pivotal role working one-on-one with a 9th grade student, making a genuine impact on their daily experience and overall development.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Previous experience in school-based settings or with adolescents preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow clinical protocols and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to behavior intervention plans
Position Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 behavior therapy and support for a 9th grade student Implement individualized plans as developed by supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts Collect accurate documentation and behavior data daily Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents as appropriate Adjust intervention strategies based on student progress and needs Maintain a safe, encouraging, and structured environment for student achievement This contract role offers the opportunity to enjoy a fulfilling workday spent helping a student thrive.
