Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a 20-year-old male student with significant behavioral challenges in a vibrant educational environment near Cambridge, MA. This role is ideal for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) ready to make a meaningful impact, working under the supervision of an experienced BCBA for the remainder of the school year. Enjoy flexibility in your schedule—full-time hours (8:00 am-2:30 pm) are preferred, but part-time (10:00 am-2:30 pm) candidates will also be considered. Immediate availability is required, with interview slots open this week for swift placement.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Previous experience with individuals exhibiting significant behavioral issues preferred Ability to implement behavior intervention strategies under BCBA supervision Familiarity working in school or educational settings a plus Strong communication and de-escalation skills Professional, compassionate, and reliable approach to supporting students
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one behavioral support to the student in all school settings Implement individualized intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA Collect and document data on student behavior and intervention outcomes Collaborate with educational teams and caregivers Assist in fostering a supportive, structured, and respectful classroom environment Participate in ongoing supervision and training as required
