Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, using applied behavior analysis (ABA), to promote positive behaviors and skill development. You will work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster growth, independence, and confidence. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions to inform ongoing treatment strategies. Support teaching sessions that enhance communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in a structured environment. Maintain accurate documentation, including session notes, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to adjust intervention strategies based on data and client needs. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles is preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation standards, and confidentiality protocols such as HIPAA Ability to follow detailed care plans and implement behavior management strategies effectively Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with clients' families and multidisciplinary teams Passion for teaching, supporting growth, and making a positive impact through compassionate care Embark on a rewarding career journey where your dedication helps transform lives! Pay:
$22.45 per hour
