Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Registered Behavior Technician in a school environment near Somerville, MA. This full-time assignment, running from ASAP through June 18th, 2026, offers the rewarding chance to make a real impact, working one-on-one with a kindergarten student. There is potential to renew and continue growing within the school setting!
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing Prior experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting Ability to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under supervision Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families Enthusiasm for helping young students achieve developmental and academic milestones Reliable, organized, and adaptable to changing classroom needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver consistent, high-quality ABA therapy to a single kindergarten student throughout the school day Accurately record and track data on student progress and behavioral interventions Work closely with supervising BCBA and instructional staff to adapt strategies Assist in developing and modifying individualized behavior intervention plans Support positive peer and social interactions within the classroom Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions and documentation Benefits of this
