In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral therapies, such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), to promote positive growth and skill development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health, special education, and patient care while working closely with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving quality of life. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene, promoting independence and self-care skills Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Support teaching and behavioral management strategies designed to improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors Collaborate with supervisors, therapists, educators, and families to ensure consistency in care plans and behavioral strategies Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of sessions, and progress reports following confidentiality protocols Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages learning, growth, and emotional well-being for each individual served Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management strategies Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing care plans in a clinical or educational setting is advantageous Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is beneficial Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and families Ability to collect detailed data accurately during therapy sessions to track progress over time Passion for teaching, patient care, and supporting individuals with autism or other developmental challenges Embark on a rewarding career path where your dedication transforms lives!
