In this role, you will work closely with individuals on the autism spectrum and other behavioral health challenges, providing essential support and implementing therapeutic interventions. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them in developing essential skills and behaviors. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately. Maintain detailed medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to behavioral therapy. Assist clients in developing social skills, communication abilities, and daily living skills through structured activities. Provide support to children in various settings, including home, school, or community environments. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills in behavioral health and special education. Skills Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities. Data collection methods for tracking client progress or willing to learn. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and record keeping. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment while demonstrating empathy and patience. Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly. Excellent problem-solving skills. Compassionate and patient demeanor. Strong observational skills.
