Job Description

Overview The Behavior Analyst I for the Achievements ABA (A-ABA) program at the Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation, will provide clinical services, clinical supervision, and case management as specified by the Assistant Director. The incumbent will participate in hiring, supervising, and evaluating A-ABA staff, and is responsible for behavioral assessment, intervention goal design aligned with the A-ABA approach, implementation of intervention and caregiver training, conducting ongoing data analysis, and ethical clinical decision making. In addition, the BCBA will provide supervision of Behavior Technician staff. Responsibilities Provide direct clinical services, supervision, and case management for assigned individuals. Conduct functional and descriptive behavioral assessments and interpret assessment results. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans using applied behavior analysis, including NDBI strategies embedded within natural routines and activities. Establish and oversee data collection systems; analyze behavioral data to guide clinical decision‑ Provide caregiver education, coaching, and consultation to promote generalization and maintenance of skills. Train and supervise staff, students, and/or trainees in assessment, intervention, data collection, and fidelity of implementation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to integrate behavioral and developmental perspectives into service delivery. Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and program activities as required. Complete clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and professional standards. Adhere to ethical standards as defined by the BACB and organizational policies. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess and maintain certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Must possess and maintain licensure as a Behavior Analyst in the State of Maryland. Must complete, within 1 month of hire, the required BACB 8-hour supervisor training to allow for supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians. Must maintain up-to-date status in company-provided in-service topics required by and according to the timeline established by the department.
EDUCATION
Master's degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field is required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum two years of experience in a multi-disciplinary setting working with preschool-aged children with autism is required. Experience conducting research and communicating research findings via professional conferences, peer reviewed journals, seminars, etc. is preferred. Minimum pay range USD $57,140.30/Yr. Maximum pay range USD $99,305.86/Yr.
