Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Location:
Baltimore, Maryland area Competitive hourly pay based on experience
Requirements:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field Eligibility for licensure as a behavior analyst in the state of Maryland, if required by state regulations Compliance with Maryland State Department of Education and local district requirements Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting in accordance with state and district policies Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and ethical practices Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Implement and oversee evidence-based behavioral interventions for students with diverse needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes Provide training and consultation to school personnel on behavior management strategies Monitor and analyze student data to guide decision-making and adjust interventions Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all state and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration Support the development of positive school-wide behavior systems when applicable
