Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team in providing high-quality in home support services. The Behavior Technician will work closely with individuals with autism, to implement individualized treatment plans. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives while gaining valuable experience in the field of behavioral therapy and special education. Responsibilities Assist in implementing behavior treatment plans to be delivered in the natural environment. Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients during sessions, promoting positive behaviors and skill development in areas such as communication, social skills, and daily living. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions. Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Document all session activities, progress notes, and relevant medical records thoroughly and accurately. Qualifications Experience working at least 1 year with individuals with autism is required. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), is highly desirable. Strong data collection skills with attention to detail for tracking client progress effectively. Ability to work well with people with autism in the home setting. Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to confidentiality and privacy. Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support individuals with behavioral health needs. Prior experience in special education is required. This position provides an enriching environment for those passionate about making a positive impact through in home support services while developing professional skills.
