Job Description

The Behavior Technician will report directly to the Director of Community Behavioral Support Services and the Manager of the Behavioral Stabilization Unit (when completing hours within the Behavioral Stabilization Unit (BSU). The Behavioral Technician's primary responsibility is to work directly with clients in a clinical/Day Program setting by engaging with them and documenting interactions, needs, and concerns, based on the behavior management plans in place. Bachelor's degree in psychology preferred. Must currently hold a valid Maryland driver's license and have at least 2 years of driving experience required. Be an insured driver under a valid auto insurance policy. Ability to relate well to staff and board members of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, socioeconomic backgrounds, and religions. Successfully complete the Relias Registered Behavior Technician Curriculum within the first 90 days of employment.
