Job Description

Step into a pivotal leadership role and help shape the future of student behavioral support! Cross Country Education is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support community schools and serve as a district-level Behavior Support Consultant for the 2026-2027 school year in the La Plata, MD area.
Position Overview:
Standardize and oversee a cohesive behavior program while analyzing behavioral data and guiding implementation of evidence-based practices across schools. Conduct behavioral program reviews, provide consultative support to school leaders, and recommend data-driven interventions to support student success. Provide supervision and mentorship to behavior specialists, social workers, and mental health professionals. Leverage the individual strengths of the existing multidisciplinary team to foster a collaborative and effective behavioral support network.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Special Education, or related field Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification Current Maryland Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) License (or eligibility) 5+ years of school-based experience spanning general and/or special education environments Prior experience in a supervisory or consultative role Experience implementing behavior programs across multiple sites Why Make a Move with Cross Country Education?
Top Compensation:
Earn $66.10 - $67.30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, featuring weekly pay and bonus opportunities.
