  • Contract Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our behavioral health team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder. As an RBT, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, collect data to monitor progress, and support clients in developing essential skills. Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients' developmental goals. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, and communication skills development. Collect and document data accurately during therapy sessions to track progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support the implementation of individualized care plans created by behavior analysts and other healthcare professionals. Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote adaptive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in intervention strategies across settings. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of medical records and client information. Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, special education, medical terminology, and documentation standards. Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy techniques. Ability to collect, analyze, and record data accurately during sessions. Strong interpersonal skills with patience, empathy, and effective communication abilities. Familiarity with medical documentation, healthcare records, and care plan implementation. Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient care and confidentiality. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
