Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence Support teaching and learning through structured sessions that reinforce communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with supervisors, educators, and families to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral strategies Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages positive behavior management and client engagement Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA), is highly desirable Experience assisting with ADLs or providing patient care in educational or healthcare settings is a plus Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is beneficial Strong communication skills and patience are essential for working effectively with clients, families, and team members Background in special education or teaching can enhance your ability to deliver impactful interventions Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to empowering individuals through compassionate care and innovative behavioral strategies.
