In this role, you will assist licensed behavior analysts in delivering evidence-based interventions to children with autism spectrum disorder. Your primary focus will be supporting data collection, patient assessment, and case supervision under the supervision of a BCBA to promote meaningful progress and improve quality of life. This paid practicum offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in behavioral therapy while making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Professional Development Goals The purpose of this role is to prepare the Student Analyst for future BCBA certification and supervisory responsibilities through structured training and supervised experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Direct Therapy Implement individualized ABA treatment programs Provide direct therapy services Collect and record accurate behavioral data Implement behavior intervention plans Maintain professional session notes Ensure client safety and dignity Communicate regularly with supervising BCBA Assigned Analyst Case Responsibilities Each Student Analyst will be assigned a client case for training purposes.
Responsibilities include:
Weekly data review Identifying trends and reporting to BCBA Assisting with program development Assisting with assessment activities Participating in clinical decision-making discussions Developing clinical reasoning skills Supervision Requirements Receive supervision from a qualified BCBA Participate in regular supervision meetings Receive performance feedback Complete competency development activities Comply with BACB supervision requirements Scope and Authority Limitations Student Analysts may NOT independently: Develop treatment plans without BCBA approval Modify behavior intervention plans independently Conduct independent assessments Supervise staff independently Make independent clinical decisions All clinical decisions must be reviewed and approved by a BCBA. Qualifications Enrolled in BACB-approved coursework Minimum of 6 months ABA experience preferred Strong interest in behavior analysis Professional communication skills Reliable and professional work ethic Join us in this rewarding role where your dedication helps foster growth and independence for individuals with disabilities. Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
