Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team in-clinic (Huron County) and in-home (Tuscola and Huron County). The ideal candidate will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, providing support through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques. This role is essential in helping clients achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life through effective behavioral interventions. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles. Provide direct patient care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for individuals. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress and behaviors. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust treatment strategies as needed. Assist clients in developing social skills, communication abilities, and daily living skills. Monitor client behavior and provide feedback to supervisors regarding treatment effectiveness. Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to behavioral health practices. Requirements Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and behavioral therapy practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
