Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. The RBT will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by supporting their growth, independence, and well-being within a supportive and professional environment. The position requires adherence to HIPAA regulations and meticulous documentation of progress and interventions. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) using ABA techniques. Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and feeding to promote independence. Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and positive environment. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA standards. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies. Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, special education, and medical terminology to enhance service delivery. Promote positive behavior management techniques tailored to each individual's needs. Skills Experience with behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies. Prior work with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Strong understanding of medical documentation procedures, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance. Ability to assist with ADLs and support patient care in a compassionate manner. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage clients effectively. Proficiency in data collection methods for tracking behavioral progress. Knowledge of special education principles and working within care plans tailored for individuals with developmental challenges. Effective communication skills for working collaboratively with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
