Immediately Job Description SUMMARY Provide services to school personnel who work with general education students with Tier 2 and Tier 3 behavior needs. The services provided will include classroom and/or individual student program development. The role also requires the Behavior Coach to conduct staff training and supervise the implementation and monitoring of programs utilizing research-based strategies. The coach will also oversee the implementation of positive classroom management techniques.

ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide coaching for teachers to support school-wide and classroom positive behavior interventions and supports Provide training and support to teachers to ensure expectations are taught, reinforced, and monitored at the school-wide level Provide training and support to teachers on the critical features and essential practices of behavior management in classroom settings Communication of positive behavioral interventions and support activities at PLC and staff meetings Collect, maintain and analyze behavior data Communicate with parents Network with other behavior coaches through the MISD and district social workers Support teachers to implement with fidelity research-based intervention strategies and intervention programs designed to improve the behavior of targeted students at all three tiers of intervention Provide strong leadership to the school in positive behavioral interventions and supports. Coordinate intensive intervention plans and resources for students requiring tier 3 behavioral interventions Participate in professional learning activities related to research-based behavioral interventions, as well as other professional learning opportunities to further develop knowledge/skills intervention programs designed to improve the behavior of targeted students at all three tiers of intervention. Provide tiers 2 and 3 targeted behavior interventions in small group and/or one-on-one instruction
QUALIFICATIONS
Five years of teaching experience Teacher certification; Administrator certification desired Training in a variety of behavior modification techniques (examples: Restorative Practices, PBIS, Classroom Instruction that Works, Kagan, Champs, Capturing Kids Hearts)
