Behavior Technician

Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - In-Home ABA HUG Center | Greater Detroit Area Part-Time & Full-Time | $20-$24/hr Make a meaningful difference in a child's life. HUG Center is a growing, child-centered therapy practice serving children with autism and developmental differences across the greater Detroit area. We provide compassionate ABA and multidisciplinary therapy services that help children thrive at their own pace. We're hiring Behavior Technicians / RBTs to provide one-on-one ABA support in clients' homes and select center-based settings. This is a great fit for someone who loves working with children, values consistency, and wants meaningful long-term work. What You'll Do Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision Implement individualized treatment plans Use play-based teaching and behavior support strategies Track session data and client progress Partner with families and clinical team members Help children build communication, social, and behavioral skills

What We're Looking For Required:

Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel to client homes Availability during after-school hours (typically 3:00-7:00 PM weekdays) Some Saturday availability Comfortable working in home environments (including pets) Ability to actively engage with children (floor play, kneeling, movement, light running) Genuine passion for working with children

Preferred:

Experience with autism, ABA, behavioral support, childcare, education, camps, or therapy settings RBT certification (or willingness to obtain) Psychology, education, behavioral science, or related background

Schedule:

Part-time and full-time openings available Current service areas include: Birmingham / Bloomfield Hills Detroit Dearborn Southfield Most sessions take place after school and early evenings.

Pay:

$20-$24/hour Entry-level candidates: starting at $20/hour Higher pay considered for experienced ABA candidates and certified RBTs Why HUG Center?
