Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this energetic role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change. Your dedication will help foster independence, improve communication, and enhance overall quality of life for those you serve. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder Collect and analyze data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions to inform ongoing treatment strategies Teach skills through naturalistic play and interactions. Support teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, and functional independence through engaging activities Maintain accurate medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Collaborate closely with supervisors, therapists, educators, and families to ensure consistency and effectiveness of care plans Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that promotes growth, safety, and emotional well-being for clients Qualifications Ability to pass a background check and drug test. Valid Michigan Driver's License Compassionate and caring demeanor Ability to build rapport with clients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Perks/Company Info Eight paid holidays PTO accrued weekly BCN HMO insurance is available to full-time employees (employee covers all premiums). Part-time and full-time positions available Retirement Plan No weekends, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
