Job Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism in a primarily center-based settings with occasional home-based services as needed. Teach important life skills like communication, play, self-help, and social skills using proven Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods. Work closely with an onsite BCBA who will provide hands-on training, guidance, and real-time support during your sessions Collect data and document sessions accurately. Manage challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism. Participate in light cleaning and support children in daily routines (e.g., dressing, toileting, brushing teeth). •Please Note:
This position requires working with a range of children who may exhibit challenging behaviors.Flexible schedule:
Sessions vary Monday- Friday (No weekends!
Morning:
8:15am- 12:15pm
Afternoon:
12:45pm- 4:15pm
Evening:
4:15pm- 7:15pm (available during the school year)
- Scheduled sessions are contingent based on your availability and department needs
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.Education:
High school diplomaTransportation:
Must have reliable source of transportation and be willing and able to travel between different sites. We offer Mileage Reimbursements. Valid driver's license and proof of Auto insurance required) Preferred experience: Experience with autism and related disorders, experience working with children ages 0-16, and/orRegistered Behavior Technician Certification Physical Requirements :
Able to lift up to 40 lbs; sit in a child size chair or on the floor and quickly switch from sitting to standing; walk, jog, or run quicklyAvailable Work Locations Troy:

Part-time Pay:
$17.21- $22.89 per hour Expected hours: 10
- 20 per week

Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Professional development assistance Application Question(s): During the first few weeks of training are you able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week? Trainings take place within in this time frame Monday- Friday 8:30am
- 5:00pm. Our sessions run Monday through Friday (no weekends!) with the following options:
Morning:

- Evening (during the school year): 4:15 PM
