Job Description

Position Summary:
Encompass Therapy Center is hiring experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to provide one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a center or home-based setting. Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing Behavior Intervention Plans to decrease problem behaviors, and skill acquisition goals to increase socially appropriate behaviors which are designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are currently hiring a full-time (30-40 hours/week) or part-time (20-30 hours/week) Behavior Technician to provide services in West Branch, MI.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide quality one-to-one ABA to children with ASD focusing on communication, social, play, and adaptive skills Record objective daily data to reflect client progress toward goals Maintain objective daily session notes Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment Maintain client confidentiality Be able to lift 30-40 lbs., run, and keep up with clients depending on their needs Create a fun, interactive and engaging environment for clients
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Psychology, Social Work, Sociology) Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential strongly preferred, if none, training will be provided and required within 6 months of hire Compassionate and caring demeanor Ability to build rapport with clients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits:
