Full Job Description Behavior Technician Duties:
  • Work directly with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Implement behavioral therapy interventions as directed by the supervising behavior analyst
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
  • Assist with diagnostic evaluations and assessments
  • Collaborate with the behavior analyst to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide support and guidance to clients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles
  • Familiarity with data collection methods and procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and implement treatment plans effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
