The Registered Behavior Technician, under the direct supervision of the BCBA, implements therapy to support individuals in service needing applied behavioral and related supports to improve their daily functioning and independence. This position utilizes ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, prompt fading and task analysis to create individualized plans for clients, families, and teams to implement. Additionally, they are responsible for documenting daily notes and reporting to the BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) on updates in behavior as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide one on one treatment to individuals in need of applied behavior analytic therapy in any and all locations deemed necessary to support the individual in services. Implement and maintain feedback provided by the treating BCBA. Implement goals under the supervision of a BCBA. Provide adequate feedback regarding the progress of the client to the supervisor. Develop professional relationships with caregivers, providing adequate feedback regarding client progress. Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help skills, social skills, and many other targeted goals. Keep and track accurate data collection according to the treatment plan over goal progress. Adheres to the ethical standards of the BACB and Center for Human Services. Observes confidentiality and HIPAA standards.SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION andEXPERIENCE 18
years of age or older At least 6 months experience in the developmental disabilities field, in a training/teacher role, or similar work related to behavioral supports or individual development High School Diploma or equivalent Able to pass a background check RBT-Credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) upon hire Must complete training as stated by CHS policyHRD-P-022
