The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for conducting 1:1 applied behavior analysis therapy with young children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The RBT works under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Play-based methods based in ABA principles are used to teach young children crucial play skills, social skills, communication, and self-help skills. This is a great position for those seeking to work with children with developmental disabilities and their families. Qualifications for this role include:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with young children or individuals with disabilities is preferred, but not required Registered Behavior Technician certification, will provide on the job training to obtain certification if necessary Must be able to work at least 10 hours per week and have reliable transportation
