Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. The RBT will implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or other licensed professionals. This role involves working closely with children and adults to promote positive behaviors, assist with daily living activities, and foster skill development in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in behavioral therapy and experience working with diverse populations requiring specialized care. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during sessions Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines Support clients in developing communication, social, and self-care skills through teaching strategies Monitor client safety and ensure a safe environment during all activities Collaborate with team members to modify interventions as needed to meet client goals Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Document progress notes, treatment updates, and other relevant medical records accurately and timely Participate in team meetings to review care plans and discuss client progress and challenges Skills Experience with behavioral therapy techniques, especially ABA-based interventions Prior work with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder Knowledge of assisting with ADLs and implementing behavior management strategies Strong understanding of medical terminology, care plans, and medical records management Ability to collect precise data for progress tracking and reporting purposes Excellent teaching skills with patience and empathy for working with diverse populations Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information Effective communication skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams Compassionate attitude towards patients requiring behavioral health support and patient care expertise This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring specialized behavioral support while working within a professional healthcare environment.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
