Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As an RBT, you will work directly with clients to implement individualized behavior intervention plans, utilizing evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA). This role offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults by promoting positive behavior change and skill development. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients' developmental and behavioral goals. Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress accurately and consistently to inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other self-care tasks. Use behavioral management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors in various settings. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in intervention strategies across environments. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all medical records and client information. Participate in ongoing training related to applied behavior analysis, special education, and behavioral health best practices. Skills Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation procedures, and care planning processes. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to client behaviors effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support clients' growth and independence. Familiarity with medical records management and adherence to privacy standards such as HIPAA is essential. Pay:
$10.00 - $14.91 per hour
