Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a difference as a Registered Behavior Technician in a dynamic school-based position supporting students' growth! This contract role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate within a dedicated educational team, working directly with students on-site near Apex, NC. The assignment is full-time for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 24, 2026, and concluding June 9, 2027. Interviews are being scheduled now, though final budget approval is still pending.
Key Qualifications:
Active National Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), license in hand Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies with children or adolescents preferred Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to school protocols Adaptability and positive attitude in busy school environments
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the direction of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Collect and record detailed behavioral data to monitor student progress Provide direct 1:1 and/or group support, encouraging independence and positive behavior Participate in school meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary discussions of student needs Foster a supportive, inclusive environment to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally This position offers competitive compensation for your expertise and commitment to student achievement.
