Job Description

Do you have afternoon and early evening availability and a passion for making a difference in children's lives? Patterns Behavioral Services is actively hiring part-time Behavior Technicians (BTs) to support our growing caseload in Cary, NC.
Critical Schedule Need:
We are specifically seeking candidates who can consistently work afternoon shifts , including: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM This role is part-time only (15-25 hours/week). As a Behavior Technician, you will work 1:1 with children and young adults (ages 3-21) diagnosed with behavioral or developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a licensed BCBA, you'll help implement individualized ABA programs across a variety of settings, including: Clinic Home Community School (assignments vary by case) Responsibilities Implement 1:1 direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques Collect accurate ongoing data on client's programs Clear communication with all team members and parents/clients Compliance to all related company policies and procedures Attendance at staff meetings and trainings Support with daily living and personal care routines—including toileting, hygiene, and self-care skills—using structured, individualized ABA strategies to promote independence. Requirements Must have own reliable transportation and full coverage auto insurance (100/330K). Must have smart phone High School Diploma Ability to pass a criminal background check A passion for working with children and families
Ideal Candidates:
BA/BS in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (preferred) Associate's Degree or two years of related undergraduate coursework considered Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree ABA and/or RBT experience strongly preferred (additional compensation may apply) Must have strong oral and written language skills, organized and timely, professional boundaries with families, and ability to multi-task and work independently in fast-paced environment Benefits Competitive compensation Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Committed to schedule availability Mileage Reimbursement Administrative pay $250 Referral Bonus for successfully hired employees Why Join Patterns?
