RBT/ABAT
provides direct behavioral services while serving as a mentor and resource for team members. This position supports clinical quality, staff development, and implementation of behavior intervention programs. Key Job Duties Provide direct one-on-one behavioral intervention services to clients in home, school, and community settings. Monitor treatment plan implementation and ensure consistency with behavior analytic principles. Mentor and support RBTs/ABATs by modeling best practices and providing ongoing guidance. Communicate client progress, concerns, and recommendations to supervising clinicians and caregivers. The Behavioral Support Specialist works collaboratively with clients, families, and treatment teams to implement behavior support strategies that promote skill development and improve quality of life. Key Job Duties Implement individualized behavior support plans and collect accurate behavioral data. Teach adaptive, communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based interventions. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support client goals. Prepare progress reports and maintain timely, accurate documentation of services provided. The RBT Trainer is responsible for onboarding, training, and developing Registered Behavior Technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with organizational standards. Key Job Duties Conduct orientation and training sessions for new RBT staff members. Evaluate trainee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and skill development support. Develop and maintain training materials, competency assessments, and educational resources. Ensure staff compliance with certification requirements, company policies, and best practices in applied behavior analysis. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Proficiency in data collection methods and analyzing behavioral data to guide interventions. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate clients toward skill acquisition and independence. Familiarity with medical documentation procedures, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology. Compassionate approach to patient care combined with effective behavior management strategies. Ability to lead a team confidently while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
