Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting student success as a Registered Behavior Technician in a dynamic school environment near Graham, North Carolina. This opportunity begins August 27, 2026, and runs through June 12, 2027, offering a contract position aligned with the school calendar. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:15am to 3:45pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. You'll work one-on-one with a student requiring comprehensive behavioral support, making a positive and lasting impact. The ideal candidate is experienced, compassionate, and resilient—comfortable implementing effective strategies for students presenting significant behavioral challenges, including aggressive behaviors such as hitting. Your expertise will be essential in fostering a safe, supportive, and consistent environment that allows your student to thrive.
Desired Qualifications:
Current, active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required Demonstrated experience working 1:1 with students who display significant and sometimes aggressive behavioral needs Prior work in school-based settings preferred Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills Ability to implement behavior intervention plans effectively Excellent communication abilities with students, teachers, and school support staff Composure and professionalism under pressure Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following ethical guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
