Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral therapy services. The RBT will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized treatment plans. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by supporting their growth and development through evidence-based interventions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis (ABA), experience working with children, and a commitment to patient care and confidentiality. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting to promote independence Support clients in developing communication, social, and life skills through teaching strategies Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in intervention strategies Monitor client safety and behavior management during sessions, applying positive reinforcement techniques Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to special education, medical terminology, and behavior management techniques Qualifications Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification prior to employment Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and special education practices Ability to collect detailed data accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records Strong understanding of patient care principles, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation standards Excellent teaching skills with patience and empathy for clients' individual needs Ability to work effectively with individuals requiring behavioral health support and assist with ADLs as needed Prior experience working within care plans or behavioral health settings is preferred This position provides an enriching environment for professionals committed to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through compassionate care and evidence-based practices.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
