Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Looking for an opportunity to make a direct, positive impact in the life of a student? This contract position for a Registered Behavior Technician offers you the chance to utilize your expertise in behavioral support within a school environment near Mebane, NC. Work one-on-one throughout the 2025-2026 school year, applying your skills to help a student thrive academically and socially. In this role, you'll collaborate with educators and support staff Monday through Friday, ensuring continuity of care and meaningful progress for your student. With a well-structured daily schedule (8:15 am - 3:45 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), you'll have the time needed to build rapport, monitor progress, and respond effectively to behavioral challenges.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Demonstrated experience managing significant behavioral needs in children or adolescents Skilled in de-escalation techniques and the implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans Strong communication skills to coordinate with teachers, therapists, and families Confidence and composure in responding to challenging or aggressive behaviors, including physical aggression Ability to adapt strategies rapidly to meet the unique needs of the assigned student
Role Responsibilities:
