Job Description

Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Elevate learning environments by supporting positive behavioral outcomes in schools as a valued Behavior Specialist. This contract opportunity spans the entire 2024-2025 academic year, working full-time across several school settings. You'll play a crucial role in both direct student support and providing guidance to educational staff, driving meaningful change for students in need of behavioral intervention.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education or Special Education required Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) highly preferred Previous experience working with K-12 students in educational settings Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families Adaptability to support multiple schools and work with diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans for students across elementary, middle, and high school settings Train and support teachers and staff in behavior management strategies and interventions Conduct functional behavior assessments and interpret data to inform individualized plans Mentor and supervise RBTs when needed Provide guidance on best practices for positive behavioral supports and crisis management Maintain accurate documentation and reports as needed for compliance and progress tracking You will follow a flexible full-time schedule, generally five days each week, totaling 35-37.5 hours. Start and end times will depend on school level assignments, with elementary and high school hours typically from 7:00 am - 2:30 pm and middle school hours from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
