Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and fostering positive behavioral changes through applied behavior analysis techniques. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles. Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings. Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors to inform treatment adjustments. Assist in developing care plans that address the unique needs of each client. Maintain accurate medical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support client goals. Utilize behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and principles. Familiarity with special education practices and behavioral therapy methodologies. Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to behavioral interventions. Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and families.
