Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will work directly with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living abilities through engaging, evidence-based interventions. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to promote positive behavior change. Collect accurate data during therapy sessions to monitor client progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines, to support independence. Support teaching sessions that enhance communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each child's needs. Maintain detailed medical documentation, treatment records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs and team members to ensure consistency in care delivery. Foster a nurturing environment that emphasizes patience, encouragement, and respect for each child's unique abilities. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and data collection methods. Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a compassionate manner. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent teaching skills combined with patience and a positive attitude. Prior experience in special education or behavioral health settings is preferred but not required. $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
