Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a difference in the life of a young student as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an educational setting. This contract opportunity involves working closely with a 1st grade student transitioning into 2nd grade, providing direct support for 6 hours per day, totaling 30 hours a week. You'll play a key role in helping the student reach their behavioral goals while being actively supported by an on-site BCBA for supervision and guidance.
Qualifications:
Active certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred Familiarity with ABA strategies in a school-based environment Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Commitment to maintaining accurate data and documentation Compassionate, patient, and adaptable mindset
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for a dedicated student, under BCBA supervision Utilize ABA techniques to foster skill acquisition and improve social-emotional functioning Collect data on student progress, sharing relevant updates with the supervising BCBA and school staff Support the student's integration into classroom activities, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to facilitate successful transitions between settings Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development as required Enjoy a role where you'll see your impact every day as you help a student succeed.
