Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required. Familiarity with school-based ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) practices. Experience implementing individualized behavior intervention plans. Strong communication skills for working with a multidisciplinary team. Reliable, organized, and adaptable to changing classroom dynamics. Commitment to ongoing professional development and RBT renewal requirements.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct one-on-one or small group behavior support to students as outlined in individualized education programs. Accurately collect data on student progress and behavioral outcomes daily. Collaborate closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and support staff to ensure cohesive care. Participate in regular team meetings, contributing observations and insights on behavioral progress. Assist in the development, modification, and implementation of behavioral strategies in accordance with student-specific goals. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
