Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract A full-time opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct support within an elementary school autism classroom serving students from kindergarten through 5th grade. This position involves working closely with a classroom of 10 students, implementing behavior intervention plans and assisting with discrete trial training under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct one-on-one and group behavioral interventions to students with autism. Assist with discrete trials and collect data on student progress. Collaborate with classroom teachers and supervisors to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans. Maintain active communication regarding student needs and progress. Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB is required. Experience working with children in elementary school settings preferred. Ability to utilize behavior analytic techniques and discrete trials effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, staff, and families. Commitment to supporting children with autism in their educational environment.
