Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will make a real difference in the lives of students. In this role, you'll provide direct support and assistance in a school setting, collaborating closely with educators and specialists to help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your skills in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies will play a crucial role in helping students develop independence and positive behaviors. Ideal candidates bring a compassionate, patient approach and a strong commitment to assisting children with diverse needs. Current renewal eligibility for the 26/27 school year is required, ensuring your credentials are active and up to date.
Qualifications:
Current RBT certification in good standing Experience delivering ABA therapy in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with data collection and progress monitoring Ability to adapt interventions as needed for individual students Passion for supporting children's growth and learning
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Provide one-on-one and small group support to students in classroom environments Collect, record, and report detailed behavioral data Participate in team meetings and communicate observations to staff and families Assist with creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning atmosphere Adapt strategies to meet students' evolving needs Take your career to the next level by contributing your RBT skills in a school-based environment.
