Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in a student's life by bringing your skills as a Registered Behavior Technician to an engaging school environment. In this rewarding contract opportunity, you'll work one-on-one with a 1st grade student transitioning into 2nd grade, supporting their growth and academic success. Enjoy a consistent schedule of 6 hours per day, totaling 30 hours per week, and collaborate with a dedicated team, including a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for ongoing supervision and support.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Experience working with elementary-age students in a school or similar setting Strong understanding of ABA principles and data collection techniques Patience, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal communication skills Ability to follow teachers' and BCBA's guidance, adapting strategies as needed Detail-oriented approach to both student interactions and recordkeeping
Key Responsibilities:
Work 1:1 with a student, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans Collect and record behavioral data as directed by the BCBA Collaborate with teachers, BCBA, and other school staff to promote student success Provide proactive behavioral supports to facilitate positive classroom participation Model and reinforce desired behaviors while de-escalating challenging moments Adjust techniques in real-time to best meet the student's evolving needs This contract offers a structured school-day schedule, allowing you evenings and weekends free for personal pursuits.
