Our program is thoughtfully designed for children whose primary special education needs are related to autism or developmental delays. We focus on building strong academic foundations, nurturing individual strengths, and promoting independence through functional communication and adaptive skills. We are proud of our dynamic interdisciplinary team, which includes: Certified Special Education Administrator Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Certified Educators Occupational Therapist Speech-Language Pathologist Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) Behavior Technicians Together, we create meaningful, individualized programs that promote academic growth, reduce barriers to learning, and build real-world skills that generalize across environments. Qualifications Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Minimum of 3 years of experience providing ABA therapy, preferably in an educational setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) to identify the function of challenging behaviors. Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on FBA results. Provide direct ABA therapy to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques and strategies. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure consistent implementation of BIPs. Train school staff on ABA principles and strategies. Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Why Join Birch Academy?
