Key Qualifications:
Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing. Prior experience delivering behavioral therapy or ABA services, particularly in a school or similar environment, is highly valued. Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, therapists, students, and families. Ability to implement support plans and track progress effectively. A commitment to maintaining ethical standards and upholding confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 or small group behavioral interventions to students in classroom and/or other school settings. Collect and document behavioral data, maintaining detailed records for analysis and ongoing plan development. Follow treatment protocols developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and participate in the review and adjustment of individual behavior plans. Assist in promoting students' independence, social skills, and academic engagement. Communicate proactively with supervising clinicians and school personnel regarding student progress and any challenges. Participate in training and renewal activities, including staying current with RBT certification requirements for the upcoming school year (NSY 26/27).
