As a BCBA, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will drive meaningful progress by utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, collecting and analyzing data, and collaborating closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies. Design, implement, and supervise individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions across settings. Provide training and ongoing support to direct service staff, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and best practices. Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Participate in intake assessments, patient care planning, and ongoing behavioral health services to support holistic client well-being. Requirements Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field; master's degree preferred. Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare documentation standards such as HIPAA. Excellent communication skills for conducting patient assessments, training staff, and collaborating with families. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism.
