Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients' goals. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), to promote independence. Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress accurately to inform treatment plans. Support teaching strategies that enhance communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each individual's needs. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of care plans. Document all sessions thoroughly in medical documentation systems, including progress notes and behavior management reports. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with adults or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Excellent communication skills for teaching, explaining strategies, and collaborating with team members. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to behavior management and treatment outcomes. Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care practices, and medical documentation standards.
